About Us

Our Mission

The IWC strives to create a supportive, caring community for women from around the world.  In an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding, we offer our members an opportunity to build new friendships while enriching each other with multi-cultural perspectives.

What We Do

On Wednesdays and Thursday mornings from September through May, the Club assembles at the St Paul’s United Methodist Church at 1313 Foulk Road, Wilmington, DE 19803. In the main hall, there is always hot coffee, tea and refreshments. Here, members have a chance to sit and chat with other members and new found friends. On special occasions the space is used for Club luncheons, coffees, lectures and cultural events.

Who We Are

Our members are women who have moved to the Brandywine Valley from another country; women whose work, studies or interests take them abroad, as well as women from the USA who want to enjoy and share in the exchange of multicultural experiences. We are single and married women, with or without children. We are stay-at-home moms, working and retired women who are connected by a curiosity about each other’s cultures, traditions and food.
